Maya Tools
This is the polyshape I made in Maya. I basically took a gold sphere and put cylinders through it then extruded it so it had 6 holes in it. After that I made it a gold color and added a shadow to it by using an area light and 3 point lights.
On this project we basically just extruded a rectangle to help sculpt it into a hammer.
This is the Ice cream stand I made in maya. I had to design the ice cream holder and ice cream scoop. Then I had to add a bump map to the spheres to make them look more like ice cream. Then I added textures to the items and made it rotate.
On this project I used the create polygon tool to create a cup and bowl. Th next thing I did was make the cup look like glass and add hints of blue and put it and the bowl in front of a background. Finally, I just added a couple of area lights to light up the background.
On this project I made a base shape then duplicated it then filled it in to make it look like a salt shaker. Then we did the same thing on the inside to make the salt and filled it in. Then I took a seamless salt texture off the internet and made the inside look like it was actually filled with salt. Then I just added lights to the background.
