Polyshape

           This is my polyshape which looks very similar to a dogs chew toy. I made it using the program Maya and it was a rather simple design. I followed the directions mostly and it came out pretty good. 

           The process I used in making this piece was basically putting a sphere on a plane and putting cylinders through it. Then I selected the cylinders and the sphere and I used the booleans tool and used difference to cut out all the cylinders from the sphere. 

          Then I added a gold texture to the poly shape and I colored the plane a light purple. The last thing I did was adding a light source around the shape to add a shadow. I have to admit that that was the hardest part in this piece. Overall I am very proud of this piece and look forward to more projects in the future.
