Pencil and Mechanical Pencil

This is my pencil I made in Adobe Illustrator. I used the gradient tool and live bucket tool to color it. The process was fairly simple.

This is my mechanical pencil I made without directions in Adobe Illustrator. It was a pretty simple design but I enjoyed creating it.

Here are my 3 takeaways -

1. Using the gradient tool you have to select the object you are coloring.

2. Adding anchor points can help you change the shape.

3. Using the polygon tool you can change the shape by using the up or down arrows.
