Final: Short Animation

Final: Short Animation

During the beginning stages of this animation we brainstormed ideas of what our video would include. Then the idea of getting abducted by an alien ship was talked about and we decided to follow through with that idea. It took us awhile to get recording time but after we recorded it was time to pull all the parts of our animation together.

While we recorded the video, one of our members made the saucer in maya so when we got the footage completed we could easily just pull all the things together. It was complicated putting the different footage and making sure the green screen didn't show through the image but after a couple of days of working on it it was finished. Looking back on this project I enjoyed working with my group, Everyone did their job for the most part and that helped in the long run in creating this Short Animation.

                                     Protein Plus Template

This is my individual box template design. Probably the hardest part about this project was actually creating the template of the carton and it took some time for me to create the final design. After that I decided on the product protein plus and I had troubles with my logo design but after days of fidgeting with the logo I finally got it down. In the end, It wasn't that hard to polish the carton and finish it up.

eMagine 2015

I had a great time seeing all these different creations & pieces from all the different schools at eMagine this year. I loved seeing the unique style of some of the graphic pieces I saw and it made me wonder "How did they do that?".

The overall experience was amazing and I had a great time interacting with my peers and seeing what they thought of some of the creations displayed during the festival. Here are some of the photos taken with me in it to prove that I was there.

Informal Table setup

Informal Table Setup

I chose to do a informal table setup for my 3rd quarter final project. Probably the hardest thing to create was the chair. It took me awhile to make the back of the chair because it I couldn't think of a design for it. The thing I would probably change about this piece would be the chairs because it looks too boring and it doesn't complement the beauty of the table and the setup. Other than that I'm happy with how this animation turned out. I really love the way it looks like the candle is actually lit. It makes it look like a nice romantic candlelit dinner which is what I was shooting for. Heres the two other screen shots I took of this animation.

Top Ten Poster

This is my top ten poster I made in InDesign. I edited it a lot from the original design. I wasn't even going to add color in the original design. Since I added color it really made the poster more appealing and enjoyable to look at. I think adding simple things like color can go a long way when it comes to selling things on the market. Also, making it the fonts complement each other helps make the product more appealing to the eye and less wonky. I tried to use pretty simple fonts for my poster to make it easier to read for the public.

Snowflakes falling

                                       Snowflakes Falling

This maya animation was very enjoyable to create. I created it over the span of 2-3 weeks and I had almost no problem making it. I only needed help on a few minor things on this animation. How I made it was using the create polygon tool to make my own polygon. Then I used the mirror geometry tool and the duplicate special tool to make it into a proper snowflake! After creating 6 snowflakes I put it into a background and put a window in front of it. After I made some minor adjustments to the background and window I started animating the snowflakes to make it look like they were falling. I had no trouble making the snowflakes fall. Then I rendered it and here it is! I thoroughly enjoyed this project and hope to have a similar one to this in the future.
